午前中Bundang病院に行き、手術見学を終え、Yonsei大学に戻りました。写真は、食道空腸吻合に用いる新しい道具です。

夕刻は、名古屋大学の先生方(小寺先生、藤原先生、上原先生、石黒先生)が、Yonseiのロボット手術見学のためSeoulに来られたので、一緒に焼肉を食べに行きました(日本語OKでした)。最近、名古屋大学の先生には、懇意にしていただいていますが、特に藤原先生には、今月名古屋、ワシントンでもお世話になっています。

In the morning, I went to Bundang Hospital to observe laparoscopic total gastrectomy. In this picture, it is a new device for laparoscopic esophagojejunostomy.

In the evening I met Nagoya University’s doctors (Dr. Kodera, Dr. Fujiwara, Dr. Uehara and Dr. Ishiguro). They visited Seoul this afternoon to observe Yonsei’s robotic surgeries. We went to (Japanese welcomed) beef restaurant together.

Recently, I’m fortunately friendly with Nagoya University’s doctors. Especially in this month, I met and talk with Dr. Fujiwara in Nagaya and DC.

地下鉄で2時間程度かけて、ブンダン病院に行き、Kim Hyung-Ho(キム　ヒョンホー)教授の手術見学をさせていただきました。韓国における腹腔鏡胃外科の第一人者の一人です。華麗な手術はとても勉強になりました。また非常に親切に接していただきました。

By using subway around 2 hours, I visited to Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and observed Prof. Kim Hyung-Ho’s operations. He is one of the most famous laparoscopic surgeons in upper GI field in Korea. I learned a lot from his excellent operation. And I really appreciate of his kind treatment.

今日も、カソリック大学に行きました。残念ながら手術がなく、Dr. Songに連れてもらって、施設見学をしました。

Today also I visited to Catholic University. Unfortunately, there was no operation. Dr. Song guided us to several institutions.

昨日のことです。夕方、フリーとなったため、徳永先生とミョンドンのロッテ百貨店、教会に行き、その後、焼き肉を食べました。先生とは年も近く、お酒も入り、いっぱいお話をして、楽しい時間を過ごしました。徳永先生、ありがとう。

明日は、ソウル大学ブンダン病院に行ってきます。

In the last evening, Dr. Tokunaga and I had a free time and we went to Lotte department and church in Myeongdong. After that we went to the delicious beef restaurant. His age is very close to me. We drank alcohol and talked a lot. It was quite enjoyable. Thanks Dr. Tokunaga.

Tomorrow, I will visit to Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.

Catholic 大学病院に見学に行く機会を頂きました。綺麗で新しく、大きな病院です。Park教授(右)、Song准教授(左)に、とても温かく、接していただきました。また、先日の韓国胃癌学会で、知り合いになった静岡癌センターの徳永先生がおられました。徳永先生は、今週Catholic 大学病院を見学されるそうです。

Today, I had a good opportunity to visit to Seoul, St Mary’s Hospital, Catholic university.  The hospital was beautiful new and quite big. I received kind treatment from Prof. Park (left) and Dr. Song (right). In the hospital, I met Dr. Tokunaga (next to me) who is a staff of Sizuoka Cancer center. I got to know him at the meeting of the Korean Gastric Cancer Association. On this week, he visits to Catholic university.

釜山は、港都市であり、新鮮な海産物が美味しいことでも有名です。夜の宴会、朝のふぐ料理、とても、美味しくいただきました。

Busan is the harbor city and very famous for fresh seafood. I enjoyed dinner party and morning globefish meal.

さて、今回は、国際セッションもありましたことから、多くの日本の先生が来られ、たくさんお話ができました。

And, this congress contained international session and many Japanese doctors visited to Busan. I had a lot of chance to talk with not only Korean but also Japanese doctors.

そして、最後は、無事帰宅しました。

I went back home at night by KTX.

朝一番のoral sessionで発表がありました。今回のテーマは、ワシントンで発表した内容とほぼ同じでロボット手術と腹腔鏡手術の比較検討でした。会場からの質問もあり、有意義な発表となりました。

 I had a speech at morning oral session. My topic was almost same with poster presentation at D.C. The content was comparison between robotic and laparoscopic gastrectomy. As Korean doctor asked me questions, it was really stimulus and worthwhile for me.

韓国胃癌学会に出席するため、ソウル駅からKTX(日本で言う新幹線)で、釜山に行きました。明日朝、発表があります。

To attend the meeting of Korean Gastric Cancer Association, I went Busan by KTX (express train) with my colleagues. Tomorrow morning, I have my presentation.   

今日は通常通りに手術に入りました。しかし、明日、韓国胃癌学会に出席するため、釜山に向かいます。今は、その発表の準備をしています。

I worked in the operation room in usual. However, I will go to Busan to attend to the Korean gastric cancer association. Now I’m preparing for my presentation.

久しぶりにソウルに戻りました。ソウルでの生活も3カ月を切りました。残り3カ月を大切に過ごしたいと思います。

I return back to Seoul. It was long time to be absent. It is remained to stay in Seoul less than only 3 months. In next 3 months, I wish to spend worthwhile days.

今日は、私の誕生日です。(自分で言いますが)おめでとう。歳はxになりました。ヒントは、1973年生まれです。

お父さん、お母さん、私を産んでくれてありがとう。

Today is my birthday. Congratulations! I became x years old. Actually, I was born in 1973.

Thanks my parents to give birth to me.
