毎年7月にYonsei da Vinci LIVEが開催されます。手術室と講堂を接続して生中継討論会及び、口演があります。
今年は、7/15-17の3日間です。日本から上部消化管外科宇山教授、金谷准教授、泌尿器科白木教授が招待され、口演が予定されています。いずれも藤田保健衛生大学の先生です。
“Yonsei da Vinci LIVE” is held in every July. Live surgery and oral presentation are scheduled. In live surgery, operation room and conference room is communicated by network.
From this year, the symposium is scheduled during 3 days. Prof. Uyama, Associate Prof. Kanaya (Upper GI Surgery) and Prof. Shiroki (Urology) are invited as a speaker from Japan. All of these 3 doctors belong to Fujita Health University.

昨夜11時からの韓国、ウルグアイ戦ですが、病院の大講堂が開放され、大型ビジョンでのサッカー観戦ができました。一旦、韓国が同点に追い付くも悔しい敗戦(1対2)でした。次は、日本に頑張ってほしいですね。

Last night, the auditorium in hospital was opened for the soccer game of Korea versus Uruguay. I could watch the game with wide screen. Though Korea caught up with Uruguay, Korea regrettably lost the game by a score of 1 to 2. I hope Japan win the next game.

韓国も日本も、予選を勝ち上がり、よかったです。もちろん、サッカーの話です。今夜は、韓国ウルグアイ戦がありますが、今日は、ソウルに来て、ちょうど1年です。長かったですし、短かったですね。色々なことがこの1年ありましたが、沢山の人に出会い、沢山のことを経験することができました。韓国の方、日本の方、その他、支えて下さった全ての人に、感謝しています。

It was pleased that both Korea and Japan won to next stage. I’m talking about World Cup soccer game. Tonight, Korea has a game versus Uruguay. Actually, just one year ago, I came to Seoul. It was long but short. I experienced a lot of things, met many people in this academic year. I appreciate to Korean, Japanese and other country’s people.

思い起こせば、昨年の今日、不安と希望を胸に、ソウルに飛び込んで来ました。藤田保健衛生大学上部消化管外科では、これ以上ない盛大な壮行会をしてもらいましたし、沢山の人から励ましの声を頂きました。高ぶる強い気持ちは持っていましたが、中部国際空港で家族に見送りを受けた後、食べたカレーの味は、一生忘れられません。

I remember that I came to Seoul with anxiety and hope. Before coming to Seoul, magnificent farewell party was thankfully held by my colleagues in Fujita Health University and many people encouraged me. Though I had strong determination, it is impossible for me to forget the taste of curry what I ate in the Chubu international airport after saying good-bye to my family.

はじめは、慣れない環境に戸惑いの連続でしたが、宇山教授、桜井教授や金谷准教授など沢山の方からの、温かいメールに助けてもらいました。Noh教授や、Dr. Hyungやこちらの先生方には、毎日の生活のことにも気を配ってもらいました。韓国生活の軌道が乗り始めた後は、沢山の人と出会う機会が増え、充実した日々を過ごせる環境になりましたが、それらも全て、皆さんの支えがあったからこそで、この場を借りて、御礼申し上げます。

残すところ、20日余りとなり、私のブログも、少しずつ終わりが近づいてきましたが、帰国後も、よろしくお願いいたします。

At first period, I was at a loss in every situation. However, Prof. Uyama, Prof. Sakurai, Associate Prof. Kanaya and others sent me mails and these letters encouraged my mind. Prof. Noh, Dr. Hyung and others paid attention to my daily life. After a few months, I enable to live a full life and met a lot of people. I appreciate your warm support.

About twenty days later, I leave Seoul and this blog will be over. I wish your continuous support after going back to Japan.

今週はスペインから先生が来られました。Dr. HyungとDr. Pakと一緒に焼き肉を食べに行きました。

Spanish doctor visited to Yonsei. We went together to beef restaurant.

名古屋大学第1外科の深谷先生、小出先生がYonseiに見学に来られました。夜一緒に、サムギョプサルレストランに行き、マッコリを飲みました。

Dr. Fukaya and Dr. Koide from Department of Surgery 1, Nagoya Univ. visited to our University. At that night, we went dinner together to pork (Samgyeopsal) restaurant and drank Makgeolli.

今朝、無事ソウルに戻りました。スイスは、残念ながら、雨が多くて、寒かったですがこちらソウルは、暑くなってきたようです。スイスでは、学会以外に、観光もできました。また、内容を更新します。

This morning, I came back from Geneva, Switzerland. Unfortunately, it was raining and cold. So it feels too warm after arriving to Seoul. In Switzerland, I had a time to go sightseeing. I will update this page with some photos.

今回の学会では、小生のポスターは展示のみで発表はありませんでしたが、ボスのかわりに「ロボット補助下幽門側胃切除D2リンパ節郭清」という内容の口演がありました。7分間の発表で、4人ほどの質問を受けましたが、無事に終わりました。

At this congress, I had poster presentation except speech and oral presentation instead of my boss. The title was “Robotic D2 Lymph Node Dissection during Distal Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer”. It was 7 minutes and 4 doctor gave me a questions.

今回の学会の空いた時間を使って、スイス観光に行きました。北海道、北見赤十字病院の北上先生及び、ジュネーブ在住のお姉さまご夫婦にご配慮いただき、本当に楽しい観光、食事ができました。ありがとうございました。

I went sightseeing during the itinerary. Thanks to Dr. Kitagami (Kitami Red Cross Hospital, Hokkaido), his sister and his brother in law (They live in Geneva), I really enjoyed meals and sightseeing.
