昨年7月にアメリカで、動物を用いたダビンチ手術の講習を受け、その後、臨床トレーニングを延世大学で受けてきました。今までは、開腹からサージカルアームを接続するまでの準備と、術中のアシスタント、サージカルアームをはずして組織の摘出から閉創までを学年が下の先生と行ってきましたが、今日実際にダビンチコンソールを用いた手術デビューを果たしました。といっても、全てを行ったわけではなく、ボスが部屋に来るまでの(十二指腸を切る少し前までで)途中までです。

それでも自分で実際操作してみると、新たな発見がありますし、ボスがしているようには、流暢にいかないものです。まだまだ、修行が必要ですが、とりあえずは、今日第一歩を踏み出しました。

Regarding robotic surgery, I had animal laboratory training at USA on July, 2009. After that I had clinical training at Yonsei University. Until today, my work on robotic surgery was here; the preparation before docking, assistant during the docking time and finishing after undocking, with young doctors. Today, I firstly operated surgical console. It was not complete, but in part until boss is coming (until transecting the duodenum). There were many discovery and I felt it is not so easy to perform skillfully like my boss. I need more training. However, today is my memorial day for the first step of operating surgical console.
